RBI releases coins of Rs 10

Its released and now you can have it on your pocket!
RBI is ready to issue a new bimetallic 10 Rupee coin for circulation.

The look: The obverse side has the lion capitol with numeral 10 and year of manufacture. On reverse side, a double line cross with a dot in each pellet of cross and denomination written in Hindi and English around. This design has been prepared by National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad with the theme of Unity in Diversity. The outer side metal is Nickel-Bronze and the inner side metal is Ferrous Steel. The weight of the coin would be 8 grams and the diameter would be 28 mm.
The coins are being minted at mainly Noida and Mumbai mint. The coins worth Rs.70 million was already stored in its stock till August 2008.

Booking of Nano

The tata has started booking of Nano from 4th of April and its online booking will be start from 9th of April at 00:01 from the following links http://tatanano.inservices.tatamotors.com/tatamotors/index.php?option=com_booking. Curretnly 3 banks are booking Tata Nano SBI, ICICI and Corp Bank. First you have to purchase a application form which cost Rs. 300/- for paper booking  and Rs.200/- for online booking. During the booking of Nano you have to submit Rs. 2999/- as booking amount. Later it tata will conduct a lucky draw and announce the Nano’s owner name. Rest the people get amount back or can wait for nano.

The Union Bank Of India providing finance for Nano only 9% this is very cheap to every banks and Canara Bank is providing discount on booking.

The Price of Nano will be very cheap for Uttarakhand specially if you are booking it from Haldwani the price slab of Tata Nano will be (Only from Haldwani)

EC issues notice to P. Chidambaram, Jaswant Singh for violating code-of-conduct

The Election Commission issued a notice to Home Minister and senior Congress leader Mr. P Chidambaram on Sunday for allegedly offering poll sops during a recent visit to Rajasthan. The notice was issued following a complaint by the BJP. The party has alleged that Mr. Chidambaram, during his visit to the state, talked about granting citizenship to displaced Hindus from Pakistan and additional facilities for passengers travelling by Thar Express. The three-member Commission, headed by N. Gopalaswami, has asked Mr. Chidambaram to reply to the notice by Monday evening.

The Commission also issued notice to the senior BJP leader Mr. Jaswant Singh for reported violation of model code of conduct in Barmer district of Rajasthan. The Commission took notice of the footage shown by the television channels showing the BJP leader distributing currency notes among people and discussed the issue in detail after seeking report and CD from the district magistrate. The Commission has asked the BJP leader to reply by 5 p.m. on Tuesday.

The poll panel also strongly disapproved Samajwadi Party chief’s Mulayam Singh Yadav’s remarks against a district magistrate in Uttar Pradesh. The Commission advised Mr. Yadav on Sunday to be more cautious and exercise restraint in the future. The Commission had earlier issued a notice to Mr. Yadav for violating the model code of conduct.

Another suicide bomber strikes in Pak, 30 killed, 150 injured…

At least 30 people were killed and over 200 others injured in a suicide attack in Pakistan’s Punjab province on Sunday. The suicide bomber struck a gathering of the minority Shia community in Chakwal area of Pakistan’s Punjab province. In the latest in a series of terror attacks that have rocked Pakistan, the suicide attacker entered an imambargah or prayer hall, where hundreds of worshippers were present and detonated his explosives.

The terrorist assault came a day after a suicide bomber attacked a paramilitary camp in the heart of Islamabad, killing eight security personnel and injuring five others. Another suicide attack yesterday in the restive North Waziristan tribal agency left 17 civilians dead.
